Uploading Photos

Below your posting box, there is an “upload” box. Hit “browse” which will browse your computer for a file or image. Open and then upload. When you have the image, (make sure your image is sized for the web..72-95 resolution). After upload, click on the picture, it will bring up options. Choose thumbnail or original, linked to image or page or not linked (choose not linked for now). Then choose close options. Technically, we should be able to drag and drop the image into the editor box.  It works with IE, but not my Firefox. Instead, right click the image, click on “copy image location”. Then in the post box tool bar click on the “insert/edit image” icon. In this box after “Image URL” right click and click “paste” or key “ctrl, v”. If the image is too big, click on it and it will bring up the resize box. You can fiddle with the “alignment” choices. I haven’t found a choice that allows you to move the image to a different location on the page. I’ll let you know. Wordpress does have tutorials. This version is 2.0.2, so you have to be aware of what version your tutorial is talking about. In order to get fancy with your postings, you will have to do some studying.
